Life Before Brooklyn House
Megan Thompson moved to Brooklyn when she was 12. She spent her time indoors, usually reading or doing research. She always liked Egyptian Mythology. One day, her parents took her to Brooklyn House and explained everything. Meg was excited that the Egyptian Gods really existed. She immediately chose to follow Thoth, not even upset that she was leaving her parents.

Megan raced down the hallway, feeling excited. She had just found out that the Egyptian Gods were real. She slowed down her pace to a walk, forcing herself to calm down. For a moment, she wondered if this was real. Pushing away the talk, she glanced at the huge doors that lead to the library.

Life Before Brooklyn House:
Leah Parks was told she was a magician when she was 12. She thought her parents were crazy, however, and ran away. She came to Brooklyn a year later, when she turned 13. She was outside the Brooklyn House, when she heard something exploding. She decided to explore and tried to get inside. However, the house was protected, so she couldn't pick the lock. But, somebody heard her and opened the door. They recognized her and told her that her parents weren't crazy. When she didn't believe it, they showed her magic. So, she finally believed it.

RP Example:
Leah dropped her new amulet around her neck. It was a shen amulet, like Walt's. However, it hadn't been connected to anybody. Yet. She sighed, pulling out the materiels to make an identical one. She would probably give it to a close friend, or the like.

They had a lot of trouble getting there, since the mortals were extremely suspicious about them. But, they reached there. She has been living there since then.

She overheard it, and got mad. She ran away and found Brooklyn House by accident. She didn't want to stay, but then thought it was better than living on the streets. So, she stayed.
