"I have some hang gliders in the basement, maybe i could teach you." I suggested.

"No, but it sounds exciting." Megan's eyes gleamed. She didn't seem like it, but the word exciting would make her look up from any book.

I suddenly had an idea "have you ever been hang gliding?" I asked

Megan sighed and flipped a quarter in the air.

Megan laughed, again.

"Khufu loved it. Once I had to restrain him from running on to the court when the other team scored a goal."

"Yeah, I knew that." Personally, Megan thought that it was ridiculous. She barely concealed a grin.

"Did you know Thoth has a Baboon basketball team? I took Khufu, to see them, part of my chores, and Carter payed me twenty bucks." I say.

Megan laughed.

"Because her name ends with an 'o'?" Megan said, grinning.

OOC: Yeah. I'll try to play Thoth as little as possible.

Megan laughed. "That sounds funny. Of course, a crazy baboon wouldn't be fun," she said, still smiling.

OOC: Gods can only make comments in their heads, and they can't help the person largely, they can give some advise.

BIC: "He's a albino crocodile, he's a shabti of Amos, but Amos hasn't summoned him in a while, not since he ate all of Khufu's oreos and made him go nuts." i commented, remembering having to calm down Khufu with a giant cup of Jello.

"Who?" Megan asked. Who the heck is Philip of Macedonia? Some random prince? she thought.

No, Thoth said, in her mind.

You're a great help, Megan thought, sarcastically.

OOC: I'm allowed to play Thoth, right?

"Just a few months." Megan remembered how excited she was to discover the Egyptian Gods were real. She felt some of that excitement now, but most of it had faded away.

"About a year." I said "Give or take a month."

"I feel sorry for you," said Megan, grimacing. Thankfully, there were some others who took the path of Thoth. Cleo, for example. "So, how long have you been here? Or did I already ask you that?"
